Ladies In Power Who We Are Everything in the universe, from the tallest building to the simplest life form, needs a good solid foundation, and a strong support system. In society, women are that ever so integral part of the support system and Ladies in Power is that foundation. Ladies in Power is an organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, that was founded in 2005 by two sisters; Laura Bulluck and Frances Mickens-Scroggins. Laura and Frances are strong involved women in our community, who feel that there is a real need for an environment where ladies can feel safe to dream and create hope, as well as be accepted for the strength and courage they already possess. An environment where we can be empowered to build relationships that support and foster mentorship opportunities for the youth and women in our community. The uniqueness of Ladies In Power is that it is an organization entirely of inclusion; Ladies of all ages, cultures, societal statuses, and professions are joining together in an effort to celebrate the beauty, spirit and strength, and most importantly, necessity, of women. Ladies in Power wishes to make each and every event a focus on motivating, rejuvenating and celebrating the spirit of each individual and unique woman.

It is our goal to encourage the potential in women as mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends, in order to make them the best examples of powerful women in our community. We wish to emulate the great and influential women of
our past, and in doing such, help nurture and enlighten the great women to be of our future.
